With a history rooted in hospitality and a legacy of care, The Beacon continues to offer one of Kent’s most atmospheric settings for an afternoon to remember.
HOUSE MENU FROM 12PM
Our relaxed dining experience, a place to gather, unwind, and enjoy great food at your own pace. Designed with something for everyone, our menu brings together vibrant small plates made for sharing, fresh seasonal salads, and comforting favourites all the way through to perfectly cooked hearty steaks. Whether you’re stopping by for a light lunch, casual drinks, or a long dinner with friends and family, our House Menu is all about relaxed hospitality, generous flavours, and good company.

Whether you’re staying with us or just passing through, mornings at The Beacon are unhurried.
Fresh coffee, seasonal breakfast dishes, and house made alcohol free kombucha cocktails. Dogs welcome. Book ahead or simply walk in.
LUNCH FROM 12pM
Lunch at The Beacon is made for lingering.
A seasonal Chef led house menu, plat du jour, smaller sharing plates and a cocktail of the week set the tone. Outside, the terrace opens onto valley views, sun-soaked, unhurried.
Sunday Lunch served until 4pm.
Limited menu available in the Garden Bar 5pm–7pm.
Garden Bar closes for drinks at 8pm.

The Hearth at The Beacon is a welcoming, elegant space, with a cosy fireplace, stunning stained-glass window, and Arts & Crafts charm. Our Executive Chef Scott Goss and team craft every dish using the finest local ingredients, creating seasonal plates that are as beautiful as they are delicious. The GARDEN BAR
The Garden Bar is a stylish and welcoming spot, perfect for everything from breakfast to evening cocktails. With cosy corners, snugs, and sweeping views, it’s the ideal place to relax and catch up with friends. Walk-ins are always welcome — just follow Tea Garden Lane and we’ll greet you with a smile.

For intimate dinners, our Card Room seats 8–12 guests and includes a cosy sofa area for pre- or post-dinner drinks.
LARGE GATHERINGS
For slightly larger groups, the Billiard Room welcomes up to 20 guests with stunning views across our grounds and lakes.
GRAND OCCASIONS
For grander occasions, the Hearth Restaurant can host up to 60 guests, giving you an entire floor of The Beacon to make your own.
